Driving 3 features from 0→1: agenda planning, sharing, and support triage for 100,000+ Dreamforce attendees.

Overview

As a Product Management Intern on Salesforce’s Emerging Technology team, I worked across four projects tied to the Dreamforce events app and support experience, with a focus on driving 3 features from 0→1: agenda planning, agenda sharing, and help center triage.

Approach

User research from the Boston World Tour and TDX 2026 onsite studies surfaced a persistent ‘collaboration gap’: attendees rely on texting, screenshots, and spreadsheets to coordinate agendas with colleagues, a pain point the Dreamforce 2025 report called out for the second consecutive year. I also built an Eventbase-vs-native comparison deck (8 feature sets, 50+ slides, 60 screen artifacts, 30+ research insights) and mapped 9 error modals against 16 AMS errors with 20+ user stories, work that built the cross-team context and trust needed to pitch new 0→1 features.

Research

The collaboration gap showed up in every event study: users wanted to plan and share agendas with colleagues but had no native way to do it. That reframed the brief from ‘improve the agenda’ to ‘make planning a team sport,’ directly motivating the agenda sharing and planning scope below.

Features Designed

Agenda Sharing — a sender/recipient flow: share button, agenda naming, session selection, live-update toggle, and a shareable link, with Agentforce screening the shared agenda and recommending sessions to attend together.

Agenda Planning — a collaborative agenda mode with side-by-side team views, group join links, catalog filters for teammate attendance, detail-page session suggestions, refined privacy permissions, and expanded Agentforce use to split favorited sessions and fill schedule gaps.

Help Center Page Builder — a new Page Builder webview addressing a too-dense FAQ page, a non-functional mobile Agentforce widget, and a feedback form with no triage process, with FAQ segmentation, an embedded Agentforce window, and a triage/contact flow.

Outcome

The events app work shipped ahead of Dreamforce for 100,000+ attendees, and the 3 new features were built to lift sessions attended per user by making agenda planning a shared, collaborative experience instead of a solo one. Separately, at the Futureforce Hackathon I helped build Travelforce, a Slack agent connecting Org62, Concur, and Amex, which won 2nd place of 38 teams (200+ participants) by cutting work-trip prep time by 66%.

Reflection

The biggest shift in how I think about product management: influence without authority is being reshaped by AI. PMs aren’t just writing requirements anymore, tools like Claude Code and Figma Make let us prototype fast enough to hand teams something concrete instead of a spec. But the throughline underneath the tools was still relationships, the context-building work (error modals, the Eventbase comparison deck) is what earned the trust to pitch agenda sharing and planning in the first place.
